Wells Fargo Freezing Accounts
It has recently come to my attention that Wells Fargo is freezing customer accounts after they file for bankruptcy protection. If you have any bank accounts with Wells Fargo, I would close the account and open an account with another institution. Wells Fargo seems to be serving as custodian of money that does not belong to them, and violating the automatic stay imposed by the bankruptcy court. It seems that a class action lawsuit may be in order to get Wells Fargo to stop this egregious practice.
